Review on Khanka Travel Replacement DriveSmart Navigator by Stephen Parkell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Large enough for the entire rig

This case is ideal for transporting a complete GPS rig. I bought this bag when I wanted to carry my 6 inch Garmin GPS with cable and mount in my suitcase for use in my rental car at my destination. He's great for that. The GPS navigator is housed in a soft pocket in the lid. My Garmin nevi are 6 inches so there is extra room and the strap keeps them in place so they stay in place. (Looks like it will easily fit in a 7" block as advertised). The bottom compartment has two pockets ideal for storing cables and mounting brackets. And indeed there is enough space for both suction cups. a windshield mount and even a Garmin dashboard friction mount (beanbag device). So the case neatly accommodates the GPS box, cable, dash mount, windshield mount and bracket without being overly bulky. , and I personally think it looks better than vinyl "leather" cases that don't fool anyone into thinking they're leather and just look ostentatious. If you are just looking for a simple carrying case for your GPS navigator, this case is much more than what you need. For example, it's a little clunky for my small VW glove box. Also, for everyday use, I usually leave the mount and cable in the car instead of removing them. But for those times when I want to carry around my entire GPS kit, it's perfect.
