Good quality but some flaws/issues

I ordered this case for my very first iPad. if you use apps like Procreate and have the ability to easily rotate your iPad. * The case feels solid and seems to protect the iPad well enough. * The grooves for holding the iPad upright are great and I had no issues with them in landscape mode. *Thick - I wanted something thicker than something thin like paper. Cons: * Trying to hold the iPad in the ridges in portrait mode was a little wobbly - works best on a table or other solid, flat surface, but doesn't really stay that way for very long. * The rubber band for the pen holder is useless and flimsy. I had no intention of purchasing a stylus for my iPad when I ordered the case, but when I did, frequent use meant that the rubber band began to wear out and stretch after a surprisingly short period of time. Maybe my chewing gum was just defective? *The black elastic that keeps it closed isn't very stylish or attractive - I would have preferred a magnet or maybe an elastic in the color to match the print I bought. Overall I give this 3 stars. If you don't have a stylus, or if you have a separate stylus/pen/pencil case, I highly recommend this. If you want to protect your pen, look for another model with a built-in pen holder. Fall due to the above cons and ordered another style instead. * I bought this iPad case with my own money and received no compensation for my review. When making my purchase decision, I rely on honest reviews.*
