Installation documentation in the box and on the website is terrible. Badly written. Here's the scoop I figured out after some frustration from an older one: 1. Remove the threaded nut from the back of the bracket.2. Connect the smaller part to the vent by putting the knob on the vent, turn the wing nut to tighten the knob until it stops.3. Slide the threaded nut onto the knob with the smooth side facing the air vent.4. Hold the attachment with one hand and the part to be attached with the other hand. Press the latch firmly until it snaps into place on the round handle. Trust me it will work; be brave and strong!5. Turn the threaded nut so that it firmly connects the two parts.6. Unscrew the two "legs" so that they support the bottom of the phone.7. Place the phone in the holder. Press the small button on the bracket, which allows you to adjust the two side arms to keep the phone in place.8. Enjoy
