We use a lot of power tools. There is always something to do around the house or in the garden. This means that we usually have multiple types of each toolbox, so we can both work on something at the same time. It also means I'm always more than willing to try new tools, even if that means having a dozen different types of batteries and chargers. This Einhell was beautifully packaged. Nice case, decent accessories (there's even one that connects to a battery that acts as a USB hub). Probably great if you're going camping and want to use the battery for that. I'm not sure how useful it is at home. In addition to the drill itself, a battery and charger are also included, as well as a work light attachment and several drill bits. For housework I think this drill would be great for hobby and general maintenance. But it just doesn't seem substantial enough to do the harder work. It's hard to describe but it just feels lighter and not as strong and I don't know how comfortable I'll be with it even doing general construction work. While the lighter is attractive because you don't get tired of holding it so quickly, it just doesn't offer the performance that some of my other lighters have (I still swear by Porter Cable and love my set). The battery life is the same as all the others and we were able to use it for a few light projects on a single charge. To be honest the bag is what really sells this piece for me. It's probably nothing groundbreaking, but I like its open/handle format and have used it to carry other projects after the drill stock was removed. That tells me I probably just need to buy a project bag like this, but at least now I know what I want. It's good for light, general use and probably great for small household chores. For bigger, tougher jobs, I probably wouldn't choose this drill. Reviewed by M. Reynard 2020
