So I ordered 9 as there was no 8.5 option. According to other reviews, they work "tight" or "small". I disagree but assume these reviews are not from the skaters. If you only wear these shoes for everyday wear, you might not know that all slate shoes designed specifically for skateboarding need a bit of breaking in compared to regular tennis shoes. Some more than others. I find them a bit big but that's because I had to get a 9. I would say they are spot on and compared to my tilts of the globe they are true to size. It's worth waiting for my green blacks from UK!
