I had a problem with dirt on first use. My flushing gas was causing problems. Troubleshooting revealed that it was the back cover gasket that was letting ambient air into my purge airflow. The o-ring and groove on these rear caps are closer to the flange. The lids fall onto the back of the burner before being fully closed. You really have to twist them to seal them. Otherwise, you're basically crushing your collet. Next time I'd rather buy branded (CK) versions. They work if you tighten or cut the back of the burner head.
