Review on 🔋 Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT Tr VE. Can 150V 100A Solar Charge Controller (Bluetooth) for 12/24/36/48-Volt Systems by Tom Beland

I use this with 1200 watt solar panels to charge my Victron 12v system (inverter/charger and battery). The panels are connected in series and typically run on 120V DC with a solar input of 5-10 amps. SmartSolar monitors the optimum power point at least every second or so and regularly increases the output power from 50 to 100 amps at 12V DC as advertised. Note that if you want to prioritize solar over grid or generator you MUST purchase a Victron Cerbo controller and run the ESS helper. Otherwise, the Victron inverter/charger will prioritize grid power over solar power and simply not use solar power, making it less useful. I have this and a Victron Multiplus 12v inverter charger, a Cerbo controller and a cheap but very functional LiFePO4 12v 280ah battery and the whole system works very well.
