Review on Highly Efficient Pneumatic Hammer Chisel with Hanperal Smoothing by Temarquis Lopez

Perfect addition to my pneumatic hammer

It took me years to appreciate the true value of a jackhammer when working on cars and other jobs around the home and garage. I bought my first when I was a kid but never used it until I had a chance to see my mechanic friend use it in his workshop and realized it was one of the handiest tools out there . I cannot remove the stuck disc from the hub - pneumatic hammer. Do not pull the rusty bolt out of the hole - jackhammer. Cannot loosen rusted ball joints - air lock. It's amazing how quickly contact with rusted steel removes things that would otherwise take hours with penetrating oil and other tools. I think my biggest problem with not understanding the value of a hammer was that the tools that usually come with a hammer are basically chisels. While they have value for some jobs, they didn't play a role in most of my applications - hence it was gathering dust in my toolbox. This kit is the perfect kit for the above jobs. They're called gouges because they can be used to smooth sheet metal and the like, but in my opinion they work best for separating stuck or rusty items. The set contains three tools in different lengths and diameters, making it ideal for many things. The steel seems to be of decent quality (none broken yet) and they should last a lifetime. Also included was a retaining spring but my hammer already has one and I doubt I'll ever need to replace it. Given the price of this set and the versatility it offers, I highly recommend it. The time savings and backbreaking work that a pneumatic hammer can solve is only limited by your creativity and the tools you have.

Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
