This fan is indispensable in summer or when the tide is high. It sits comfortably around the neck. There is an on/off button that you press and hold to change. You can then press the button three times for the highest setting, or just once for the slowest setting. The battery lasted me 8 hours when I turned it off without using it. It comes with a mini USB cable for charging from a laptop or USB wall charger. I'm a happy tourist, literally.
