Review on Sceptre FreeSync E248B FPT168: Frameless DisplayPort Monitor with Built-in Speakers, Wall Mountable & Tilt Adjustment - Full HD 1920X1080P, Flicker-Free & IPS Panel by Peter Ali

Pretty good monitor

The monitor is good, but I'm not sure if it's $280. The lack of a color gamut doesn't seem ideal for anyone playing an aesthetically heavy game. It's an understandable trade-off, but I'm not sure it's a reasonable trade-off given the $280 price tag. I've considered returning this monitor due to this issue, but I'd rather avoid the hassle and potential shipping and restocking fees. Pros: + Pleasing physical aesthetics + Image quality is good + Minimal visible lag + No noticeable motion blur (to be tested) Neutral monitor sound is fairly quiet. There are probably very few people who care. DVI 1.2, HDMI 2.0 comes with DVI cable only. The power cord is very short, which is a bit annoying when trying to route the power cord in a specific cable path. Management It is possible to set custom configurations. A nice addition would be to allow multiple user profiles for different user profiles. Cons: - The menus are cumbersome and a little tedious to navigate. - The picture configuration range seems limited compared to my TV. I had to max, or nearly max, some settings for a particular console game's aesthetics to get the color vibrancy I was expecting.
