Review on 🌬️ Colorfullife 6 Pack Humidifier Wicking Filters: Honeywell HAC-504AW, HAC504V1, HAC-504 Filter A Replacement by Michael Keitt

Have been using them for a week now. Here's what I know at the moment. Pros: cheap, thick so they absorb a lot of water well. Cons: The top of the filter turned very brown in just 4 days. You can tell it can be good and only picks up contaminants from hard water (I use city water, unfiltered or distilled). But I've never seen a filter look that fast, so I'm worried these filters won't last very long. My biggest problem with filters is getting smells from them. It's kind of a sour, papery smell that filled my whole room. It was worst on day 3-4 and seems to be going away, although not completely. I should note that I thoroughly cleaned the humidifier before use. I'm not sure if I'll be returning them or not but I definitely won't buy them again and would recommend others try a different brand.
