In terms of their properties and durability, they are in no way inferior to Honeywell OEM filters. We have finished our second season with them and are still very happy with both the cost and efficiency of the filters and the personal service from the seller.

When we have multiple humidifiers in different rooms of our house in winter, we need more filters. It was the perfect replacement for the Honeywell Cool Mist humidifier. And we have additions for next year. This way cheaper than buying in packs of 1 or 2 at a time.

For the price it's an acceptable replacement as I can afford to change it more often. You have to be careful centering them though as they are smaller in diameter than the original Honeywell filters, probably because they don't have a thinner blue mesh layer on the outside.

As many have reported these filters do not absorb moisture very well and dry incredibly quickly to the point of severe flaking. I have excellent water quality so this is no excuse for their poor performance. Also, as others have reported, they discolor fairly quickly, resulting in an unpleasant odor. This obviously defeats the purpose of moisturizers as a health tool. While they're cheap, they just don't do the job. Look elsewhere for a superior product.

I have been buying these filters for more than a year. They were ok at first - I had to change them about every 6 weeks (constant use of humidifier). But the last two orders were terrible. This is a past order, the filters will not stay fully wet for more than a few hours. I have to soak them 2-3 times a day. Even they are new! They are also much thinner than when I first bought them and very fragile.

These are reasonable filters as they absorb moisture and allow my humidifier to dissipate it, but they don't outperform any of the other fakes I've tried. They build up mineral deposits and foul odors after 2-3 weeks and rarely last a month, although I rotate the filter EVERY time I add water, which mostly happens twice a day on medium fan speed. for my Honeywell HCM350W.
