I embroider and embroider now and then for a while (definitely not an expert or anything like that). The one with the print has removed what I hated most about cross stitches - counting from the center. I especially hated it because I was an hour behind after a lot of work and it looked stupid. This completely eliminates that problem and allows me to focus on cross stitching. It took some time and a couple of washes to wash the colors off but they are completely washed out except for a very dark color at the very bottom which I can still barely see. That doesn't bother me because it will never be visible in the frame. It turned out very cute too and I plan to give it to my niece for her room (more like my sister as my niece is a baby but basically the same). In any case, I recommend cross-stitching with markings on the fabric.
