Will NOT work with Creality Ender 3 V2

Upon receipt I noticed that the springs were a bit long. Then when assembling the item one of the dial nuts had a burr on the inside of the threads which I didn't notice until I screwed the nut onto the underside of the plate and when I tried to take it off badly damaged one of the heater plate screws. The other three dial nuts worked flawlessly, as expected. Upon closer inspection, it turns out that not only are there burrs in the thread (see included photos), but the hole and thread itself are smaller than the other 3 that came with the kit. It is very frustrating that whoever makes this item does not have a quality control process that requires each one to be screwed onto the correct size screw before shipping to the customer. I tightened three working adjustment nuts along with the one that came with my 3D printer only to find out the springs are too long! It is not possible to tighten the heating platen enough to accommodate the extrusion die, not only does it fit snugly against the platen, but it also pushes the whole assembly up slightly. There is no way to set it lower because I lowered it until the springs themselves were fully down. The photo of my 3D printer shows that the spring is completely destroyed (tensioned) and the nozzle hits the heating plate. DO NOT order this for Creality Ender 3 V2, you will regret your decision.

Pros
  • The metal nut is stronger and tightens more than the plastic nuts. The torque of these nuts is large, which makes it easier to fine-tune the hot bed.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
