This is the second time I buy these RC Pet Coats. The last time was 4 years ago. I have 2 dobermans and they are very energetic dogs that love to roam the woods. Dobermans are big breasted dogs - my 2 are relatively small - size 26 fits them perfectly! Dobermans are obviously short haired dogs but I have a blue Dobie specifically that has very little hair and freezes easily so we wear this coat almost every day for about 4-5 months of the year. They wash really well. In the spring they will probably be washed every 2 days. They are ideal for winter and rain. Many winter days I take off my coat after they have run and the steam from their body heat rises from their backs. The velcro will eventually wear out but I like the idea that they can take off their coat if they get caught on something. I got them out of the woods and one of them didn't have a coat but they went back into the woods and found it hanging from a tree. I like the color schemes. If you are looking for a good Canadian winter/raincoat for dogs, this is it!
