Review on πŸ”§ Retractable Workbench Caster Kit – SPACEKEEPER by Kiko Fanandriansyah

Good casters are best on casters

I bought these casters for my workbench (about Β£190 plus all the rubbish that happened to be on them at the time). I set up a workbench against a wall and then place it in the center of my workshop (a tent in the garage) as needed. These roles meet all requirements very well. I modified the roller arms by drilling two holes for two screws in each of the roller arms. Then I screwed the 2x4 piece onto the top of the two left pulleys and tie them to the 2x4. I did the same with the two right roller arms. (By the way, those roller arms are well made from very hard steel. Make sure you have some HSS drill bits (better yet, use cobalt bits), use lube when drilling, and be sure to trim the bit to the final hole size steps.) To intervene in the action of the rollers and lift the workbench off the floor onto the rollers, I pressed my foot on the front lever of the roller. At the same time, this caused the rear roller arm to fall down due to the attached 2x4. This allowed me to raise the left side of the workbench in one motion, then the same on the right side of the workbench.

Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
