I wore the brace for about 4 hours on the day I received it. Previous reviews said sizes run small so as a short person with slim legs I ordered a medium size. On arrival I put on the orthosis, fit well. I wore the brace for about 5 hours the first day, everything seemed fine, the knee stabilized but I noticed some friction on the inside of the knee bone. The next day, put the brace on and rub the inside of the knee bone terribly as the area was already irritated from the previous day's use. Not enough padding between the very hard metal bar and my knee bone. My physical therapist and I tried everything we could think of to add padding and adjust the metal bar. Nothing worked. Due to the strong friction on the inside of the knee bone, it is not possible to wear an orthosis. waste of money.
