Description of DonJoy Performance Bionic Fullstop Knee Brace - 4-Point Leverage Hinged Support for ACL Ligament Protection, Injury Prevention, Hyperextension Prevention in Football, Soccer, Lacrosse, and Contact Sports

Hinge technology and a four-point leverage system trains users to stay out of the "at-risk" position through a dampening cycle of the hinge. Compression and thermal heat regulation keeps you from overheating; Anti-migration technology prevents sleeve movement. Adjustable straps enable greater customizability for a more secure, personal fit; Reflectivity for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions. Designed to treat and protect ACL and meniscus injuries, joint instabilities, moderate ligament and tendon sprains, hyperextension, and patella support. Intended for use in sports similar to football, soccer, skiing/snowboarding, basketball, lacrosse, or volleyball.

Excellent! Do yourself a favor!

Buy it easy! Serious! When I found out I had a torn meniscus and a mild tear in the patellar tendon, I wanted a good brace that would be comfortable and give me the relief I needed. Having tried other braces of different brands and prices (ACE, McDavid and a few others) it was a big price move but it works SO well! I no longer do heavy sports, but this brace will survive them all! Oh I can also fully bend my knee in this brace, I can't do that with any other brand. Buy once, cry once. You will…

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Only available in black

Great stand for the price! However, it scratches the other leg

I really like this brace. The best I've ever worn. I have a completely torn anterior cruciate ligament and I have 6 weeks until surgery. I had a lot of slips/hyperstretches so I needed a brace to help. The stability offered by this brace is exceptional, but the hinge is constantly scratching the inside of my opposite knee. I think that loops should be put around the perimeter. Aside from that great braces at a price I recommend. The sizing chart was accurate for me and I'm a small size, calf…

Best size and comfort in knee pads

I wore the brace for about 4 hours on the day I received it. Previous reviews said sizes run small so as a short person with slim legs I ordered a medium size. On arrival I put on the orthosis, fit well. I wore the brace for about 5 hours the first day, everything seemed fine, the knee stabilized but I noticed some friction on the inside of the knee bone. The next day, put the brace on and rub the inside of the knee bone terribly as the area was already irritated from the previous day's use…

In my opinion the best knee orthosis.

I have several ligament injuries in my right knee as a result of an accident. Before that I bought about 8 braces: 4 Donjoys including ce4, Renegade, Full Force, an Unloader from Ossur - Unloader One Plus, two Shock Doctors and a Bioskin. That's the last number 9: the bionic point. This is the best I've worn so far thanks to the following: 1- Built-in stocking under the sleeve made of thick material makes it very comfortable for my sensitive skin + its pressure on the skin gives you a stronger…

If you have the highest measurement for size go to the next available size

I bought this brace thinking it would give me stability when playing basketball. I checked the dimensions in the table and ordered the brace. When I received and tried on the orthosis, although I used the measurements in the chart to determine the size, it was too small. I didn't really think about it so I used them for basketball practice. I have to say the brace is comfortable but since then I would say my knee has buckled about three times. Each time I adjusted the brace so that the straps…

Gets you back in action for a fee.

Works much better than my previous brace I used to travel long distances but the price and build quality leave something to be desired. While health insurance costs a fortune, this option is exactly the same: It's just a piece of athletic fabric haphazardly sewn together with a pair of strong but generic loops. For $250 I expected the product to hold together, but in everyday situations the stitching has started to fray and the gasket behind the hinges has come loose, forcing me to buy new…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

If you get this for skiing/snowboarding, read this!

I was 22 years old when I dislocated my knee and patella and tore all three ligaments in my knee. Never been to rehab or had an MRI. 3 years later (I'm only 25) I sprained my kneecap playing tennis, but not the whole knee. Probably small tears and sprains of all ligaments. The problem this time was that I had 19 days ahead of my planned and already paid for snowboard trip to Steamboat Springs and they were being reset all season! So I took care of my knee as best as I could in those 19 days…
