Super Antenna - AV Accessory

This is a review of the Direct UE-MX91 antenna. The box was labeled 91XG. I live in northern San Diego County about 42 miles from the top of a mountain where several stations have their TV stations. We decided to cancel our satellite service as it was too expensive. I installed this antenna on the roof and connected it to my TV with RG6. Wow! The best TV in the world, way better than satellite. There are actually two antenna locations where the antennas of most television stations in San Diego are located. We aimed the antenna at the one with the KPBS. But we still have excellent reception on TV channels elsewhere about 30 degrees to the right. The antenna is surprisingly long. I haven't measured it but I think it's about 8 feet long. It's a bit tricky to put directors in the right spots, but it works. One complaint was that the instructions only tell you to snap them into place. Then there are some "hints" on the back of the instructions, and the second hint says you'll get better reception if you place the director's metal first. I wish they said this as part of the assembly instructions. I had to take these little bugs out and flip them. Another small issue is that most of this assembly is assembled using machine screws and wing nuts. I really wish it had real nuts to attach a wrench to. Of course I could go back to the hardware store and buy some.
