My dog loves to chew and I recently started covering his cage because we have another dog. It completely destroyed every blanket we tried, so I switched to drawer covers. It comes in a 48 inch drawer and I found it really difficult to find a really strong cover for a drawer of this size. Most matching drawer covers are attached with Velcro. I realized very quickly that the velcro wasn't strong enough to stop her from stuffing stuff in the drawer. I also needed a lid that opens on all four sides so I can keep a window between two kennels open. I tried this one because it ticks both the boxes, it opens on all 4 sides and has zippers instead of velcro. My dog managed to get in the crate and chew a small hole in it on the first day, but a small adjustment to my setup seemed to work and he wasn't able to destroy it. and now much calmer when fully overcast. I have a floor fan next to her drawer to circulate air from the underside of the lid.
