These are perfect for a family of 2-4. The larger casserole dish is quite deep with straight high sides that would be perfect for enchiladas, lasagna, chicken and rice, etc. The smaller dish would be good for hot appetizer dishes or dessert cobblers.These match the other pieces I own in the Malacasa line (see pix of quiche pan). The glaze is different from piece to piece owing to them all being handmade so some are darker, some are lighter.These wash well and can go from the fridge to a hot oven with no problems.
