Forget all the overpriced cat urine odor removal formulas on the market. Dumb Cat is my favorite product for my cattery. I clean everything regularly at first, but unneutered cats have a particularly strong odor that no one around can have. I was disappointed that they no longer have the little black keychain light - I found it very useful when trying to work out where the damn cat had marked its place. I had to buy a full size black flashlight to replace the keychain I gave to a customer. Spray liberally into corners, crevices and along floorboards. Let it dry on its own - do not rinse or dry. Cats avoid going back there if you soak the place - and it doesn't seem to do any harm to the colors or paint. The smell is very neutral and not perfumed. It smells clean to me. But I like to use deodorants with the scent of fresh laundry. No need to dilute it, measure it, or play around with it. Just pour some in a spray bottle and you're good to go. Pretty simple and it works.
