In the past I have used smooth product material. I once made a cast of a fish (e.g. taxidermy) and more recently I made a crab for our shows. I had trouble with A and B taking volume measurements when the material wasn't curing properly, because even though I used a mixing bowl with the measurements on it, they were a little off. I would suggest using a scale if you have one for best results. The crab came out pretty good, if you buy this mold making material be sure to watch their youtube video it will help a lot.
