I bought two of these lampshades to keep out the light coming in through the skylights in our RV bedroom. They work very well. I wish they had made one about 8 inches longer to cover the skylight in the shower. This would reduce much of the heat entering the interior when direct sunlight passes through them. They seem fairly sturdy and align with the screw holes on the skylights so I didn't have to drill new holes and was able to use mounting screws to install them. The tabs on the mounting bracket allow for a few inches of side-to-side adjustment.
