Details Matter for AV Accessories

Description says: CABLEDECONN 4-in-1 Multifunction Displayport to Hdmi/Dvi/Vga 1080P Adapter Cable with Audio Out Micro USB Male-to -Female Adapter " Supports 3 monitors at the same time. However, when I research why I can't use more than one monitor, I find the following; Can the 4 in 1 adapter be connected to three different monitors? That is, this 4-in-1 adapter does not support an active monitor with three different displays, it only supports connecting and setting up one monitor for extended desktop or mirrored displays with the same display. am I missing?
