I just received this new 1080FHD webcam from Wansview. It is a solid, robust yet lightweight camera that produces very good, detailed and high-resolution images. The lens focuses automatically, but the camera can also focus manually and adjust the projected circular lens as needed. I like the flexibility it has in sitting at my computer monitor without taking up screen real estate. It has a foldable flat base so it can be placed on a desk or table next to your computer... and there's even the option of attaching it to a tripod. The camera is designed for a refresh rate of 30 fps, which is good for a camera in this price range. I tested it with my laptop's built in camera and in fact the Wansview camera is MUCH better for its versatility. It has two built-in stereo microphones that reproduce excellent volume without feedback. This camera features a USB 2.0 plug and play interface. I was able to adjust the camera settings using the camera app on my laptop. I had to open the app and select a new camera before I could change any settings. I bought this camera to use mainly for video chatting and online conferencing. I tested the recording function and it plays both video and audio perfectly. You really can't beat the price, the quality or the wide range of platforms this camera can be used with. All in all I am very happy with this purchase!
