I bought these carpet straps so I wouldn't trip or fall if my foot gets stuck under the rug or in the corner of a rolled up rug. The glue is good and strong, the size is big and you can trim it if you need. I live in a rented house and put my rug on my home rug. I used these rug tapes to secure the corners and some of the edges of the top rug. It doesn't stick to the carpet very well. I put the tape under the top carpet on the underlay and it stuck perfectly but not to the carpet underneath. It adheres well to hardwood floors, tile floors and most other surfaces, but not very well to carpeted surfaces. The price is fair and the products work great most of the time on most surfaces.
