But the kid loves it.
On arrival I noticed that some of the cut outs (internal areas) were so rough that it was dangerous for children to touch them. After a short grinding, the parts were fine. The blocks are of very good quality and the outer edges are smooth and slightly rounded. My child loves them and I love that as he grows he can always find new ways to use and play with them. The sounds aren't intrusive or annoying, which is a big plus for us parents.
