Review on 🕹️ GeeekPi RetroFlag NES Cartridge Style HDD/SSD Enclosure - Compatible with NESPi 4 Case, Raspberry Pi, Desktop, Laptop, Android TV, and HD Player by Brandon Micali

Requested this because I have a bunch of bare SSDs that I need at home and because. Looks! Super sweet! I must say right away that this case is not about performance. In my experience, read and write performance is less than 400MB/s for drives advertised at 550MB/s. But if they were used with a Pi4 case. it's more than fast enough. Even for the occasional backup or file transfer, it's fast enough for most situations. And the aesthetics more than make up for it. The build quality is surprisingly solid. Assembly is easy (see photo), which is a good thing as there are no instructions included. With my SSD installed in the gray cartridge, it fits snugly into the black case and puts a huge smile on my face. However, I would prefer to see USB-C and 10Gb/s performance. for the price it's still great quality. No real complaints here, 5 stars. I will buy at least 1 more with my own money.
