I used this product to replace a previous bulb that was not lighting the fixture. I unpacked the bulb from the packaging material and put it in the lamp and found that it still doesn't work! Then I noticed that the switch wasn't in the right position to excite the electrons in the bulb. I flipped the switch and lo and behold, the light came on! NOTE: In most cases, the buyer must have a view of the old light bulb or a number from the old light bulb. Even if I attached a photo of that lightbulb, the person would not know anything about the lightbulb it's replacing. He or she will be like a duck in water. There are many different light bulbs.
