You can't go wrong with Prismacolor products. I first started using premium pencils in 1976 and the quality has remained the same to this day. I recently tried a cheaper brand and the coverage and color accuracy just wasn't worth the hassle of using them. The color applies perfectly and the coverage level can be easily adjusted depending on the desired density or delicacy or lightness of the color. They mix easily. I've given away Prismacolor pencils many times over the decades, and almost everyone I've introduced them to has become addicted to them. The price is worth it for a high quality, professional product.
