This strip softbox is a mid-range quality and easy to assemble. It does exactly what I expected it to do. It was a little misleading in the image because I thought the grid came with the light but the grid does not (in fact the grid is almost as expensive as the softbox and all of the reviews claim that the grid is paper thin that is easily ripped).I should have purchased 2 of these at the time I ordered them because this modifier is not $20 more than when I originally ordered them. I am not willing to pay the extra money for this modifier at the new price point.Also, the size is a little odd 12x56 which makes ordering a higher quality grid that will last impossible. I need a grid and I recommend having a grid for this softbox to control the direction of light, I just can't recommend purchasing the grid that is designed for it because of all of the low reviews. However, as a strip softbox alone it is a great modifier for rim and hair lighting.
