I wanted to like these interlocks. They're easier to install and remove than OEM latches and they look great. But they just don't go well with my 2008 JK. The hooks that attach to the handle are quite long. But the handle doesn't tilt far enough. As a result, the hood cannot be closed tightly enough. Also, the bar that runs from the base to the handle cuts into these hooks and prevents the latch from fully closing. Without modifications, they simply will not fix the hood off-road.
