Love these lighters. They last a long time on a single charge. They worked as intended. I bought a few as gifts and they loved them too. There's no need to hide on windy days, that's one of the reasons I bought it. Definitely worth trying. I don't understand some complaints. The only case I can think of is when you take it out of your pocket, the lid pops open and you give yourself a shock. I managed it a couple of times but it's all user error. This can be avoided. This is for real cigarette smokers. I've never tried it on anything larger like a cigar, so I can't say if it works or not.
