I was pleased with it at first and wrote a good review in a hurry. Now I've used the entire batch and have been able to fully compare them to well-known brands' bags. They are brittle and difficult to use in a machine as they constantly twist or bend as you feed them, which gets worse the further down the reel you go. I could live with that, but the number that seem to be closed and then air comes in again is unacceptable. I have a fairly new car and have never had a problem with branded bags. I often prepare and store this type of food and rely on good seals. I've had issues where the bags seemed to stay sealed around frozen food (like around a good steak), and after thawing the bag in a water bath I found that water often seeped into the bags. No nice surprise with expensive steaks or anything. One more thing; I often trim the rim of my sealed pouch and steam it in the microwave. These bags don't seem strong enough for that when they heat up and I wouldn't trust them for more than a minute, while big name brand bags are thick and can take a lot of heat. After this test I will only use branded products; These bags simply cannot be compared.
