Surprise Solution

I have been using Ender3 for work and play for a number of years and have always had problems with building air conditioners ruining my prints. I thought about building an aviary but never did. Then my Ender3 hot end died and I ordered a second printer. I chose the Ender3 V2 and saw an ad for the case on the side. So caught. I've since ordered a second one for the older Ender 3. Setting up support is easy. Assemble the frame and install the cover on it. The window is a little more crumpled than I would have liked, but it works well and clears up a bit over time. It's pretty dark in there though, so I used a ring light to illuminate the inside (ASIN B07WMRQQQ7) and it works. The name "fireproof" is misleading and even mentions it in the description, but the reflective coating makes the case well lit if you add light. I also found that it gets too warm when printing. To solve this problem I opened the top up a bit on both sides (leaving only the bulges on the velcro on each side) and left the door ajar (see picture). This results in an average internal temperature of around 35Β°C (95Β°F) as measured with an IR gun. I've always found it very difficult to use the glass top on the Ender3. The prints seem to be peeling and warping horribly due to the air movement in my office. Everything works much better inside the case. BTW I put a magnetic surface on an old Ender3 and it works fantastic. These are the flattest prints I've ever made. However, they can be difficult to remove. In the end, I really think the body is the way out. Almost every high-end printer has one, and it's understandable why. I wish I had had it a year ago. I'll say I think $80 for this is overpriced given the quality of the window, but it works well enough that I won't complain too much.
