I have 3 other types of car mounts. For phones of different sizes. This one fits them all, and the extended neck allows it to be pulled closer when I need to tweak something on my phone. UPDATE 9/1/2018, almost a year after my 5 star review mentioned above. Now he fell over because the teat came loose at the end of the summer and he hasn't been able to hold on to anything since. I left the clip park for reuse and threw away the rest. I loved it at first, but it just didn't hold up for me. very sad.
