A few years ago I discovered Balega socks. Although they may seem a bit pricey, their comfort and durability make them worth the investment. My first pair were low-cut running socks that I bought when I was a wildfire fighter. My training meant I ran almost every day and these socks are still going strong over a decade later. They have been very well made with high quality materials. I have since bought several pairs of Balegas. Like all the other models I've bought, this pair did not disappoint. They are made from high quality materials, the sole is nice and soft and best of all they stay in place and don't slide down to your toes. I would recommend a person to start by buying one pair and see if you like it and then add a few more pairs at a time. Unlike most cheap department store socks, you don't need two dozen pairs to make ends meet.
