Review on LG 27UK670-B 27-inch 4K UHD Monitor, 75Hz, USB Hub, Anti-Glare Coating, Wall Mountable by Jason Adelaja

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A small upgrade for my cheaper 3 year old Samsung monitor.

I received one as a replacement for the Samsung U28E590 which was fine overall. a little brighter, a little more contrast. It is more responsive to switching inputs or resuming from sleep mode. The standout feature is the stand, it extends, tilts, rotates very nicely. The base plate is heavy and large, larger than the old display stand, requiring the table to be rearranged. HDR media rendered above it looked worse than without HDR media, the colors were more muted and the image appeared dull. but it worked with HDR media, just not very well. Lots of I/O, USB C was good and came with a full set of cables. So more expensive than my old monitor, quality was a bit better, controls were better, stand was better but not by much so I felt it was a worthy upgrade.
