Now I'm a firm believer in Solid State Drives. I didn't see what was so great about them until I installed them on my personal rig. I restarted Win 7. It was the fastest OS install I've ever seen, and I've seen several of them because it was part of my job. The deal I got on this drive was great, $60 for a damn fast OS. It installed almost all of my old utilities and programs and it still works great. However, I used about 75% of the 120 GB. But that was to be expected. Unfortunately, installing my games and storing data is still slower on my old 2TB, but it's an old hard drive so that's to be expected. I highly recommend this product. 22 seconds from pressing the power button to using all the features of my computer. About 2 minutes 30 seconds compared to my old hard drive. Update: After a year I am still very happy with this product. It's great HD with no performance issues. Last week I finally downloaded my HD. Removed Dota from it and cleaned the junk with CCleaner and now I'm sitting on 30GB for free again. I've noticed that Dota is taking a little longer to load now, but it doesn't really matter to me. I think next year I'll be looking for another PNY CD. I've seen their reactions to customer reviews and have always been impressed when companies take the time to pay attention to their customers, even when they don't expect it. So I'm sticking with PNY. My computer still boots pretty darn fast, love it. I have a problem waking up from sleep that takes a long time, but I just change my power settings and it's no longer a problem. I'm just thinking about shutting down when I'm done as it only takes about 30 seconds to get into the game after a cold boot.
