Review on 🎁 Lykke Driftwood Interchangeable Gift Set with Grey Denim Pouch by Kristen Reid

I've talked about this so much on knitting blogs and wanted to love it. I stopped using wooden needles after discovering the ChiaoGoo Twist replacement needles, but I was curious if Lykke "Driftwood" is better due to the combination of wood and resin. I've completed 3 projects with these needles and have another in the works, here's what I'm thinking at the moment: Pros: They feel good in your hands, there's a wide range of needle sizes and braids for less than $125. Additional cables are relatively inexpensive. Cons: My right needle tip wore out significantly after the first draft, bulky hat on US10, I was hoping the resin would prevent this. The cable connectors are very long, the thread doesn't slip over them and they are difficult to change out in the middle of a project. Cable connections to metal and wood are not smooth; The yarn does not slip freely. The cables bend where they meet the metal and seem to stay that way. Based on where they are made and what style they are I am assuming they are made in the same factory as the Knitters Pride/KnitPicks needles. Buy them again but I won't throw them away.
