This lamp is great, the square shape gives you more mirror surface. The suction cup is great. People complaining about this either didn't know how to do it or got a bad one. I like that it has a long flexible neck. I can set it up high and use it on the sink without having to bend over the vanity. The flexible neck is strong and usually holds the position I put it in, but sometimes I have to adjust the mirror for balance, but it stays straight with no issues. It is small and has a good travel bag. I recommend taking the batteries out when you travel as mine were on and the batteries were dead when I got to my destination. But that's my fault. This really is the best makeup mirror I've ever found. It has a light brightness that you cannot adjust. That's a good white light.
