Let me first say that I don't abuse my USB sticks. Never put it in the washer/dryer, step on it or drop it. That being said, I've never had a USB drive disintegrate like this drive! As you can see from the photos, the actual INSIDE of the USB-C ports is bent and won't let me connect to my computer. The metal part of the plug is not bent or damaged. On the plus side, the drive reads relatively quickly, although writing to it is much slower. That being said, I generally like the design and build quality, with the exception of my biggest criticism of this drive. before all this explosion. THE CAP ALWAYS FALLS OFF! I'll try to replace it but Samsung support doesn't make it easy. After chatting with a representative online I was told to call him as he does not deal with live chat support for this product. lame!
