misleading descriptions.

The drive works perfectly, there are no complaints about its functionality, but it is NOT a double-sided USB drive, it does NOT have a standard USB end. This is a USB-C drive with a small adapter that fits in for USB. This part can be easily lost, causing it to protrude further from the machine, increasing the risk of being knocked out. I didn't buy it for an adapter, I wanted the drive to be built in at both ends.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

I recommend! suitable for USB sticks

Works as expected. I get transfer speeds of 45-49 Mbps on my Note 9. Purdy safe 300Mbps on a laptop. But it really is a great little device! Love it! I love how it switches to USB and Type-C. When I translated he got really hot. I don't know if this is a scam for some of you or not. But it didn't bother me. I took a break from the file transfer to let it cool down. Then he started translating again. I recommend it!

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Good but not great

Go back in time in data storage

Shit! It's slow! I wanted something that would allow me to exchange MP4 files between me and my buddy so we can analyze our bowling alley. It's the same speed as the old USB 2.0 I used. The copying speed is 8 to 20 Mbit/s. I've tried other files, no more than 20Mbps. So the advertised 200Mbps is rubbish. The speed I got was when connected to my USB 3.1 Gen 2 PCIE card. I got the same speed by connecting to my USB 3.1 Gen 1 port.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • No instructions

Slow write speed :(

Saving to disk (writing) was incredibly slow for some video files recorded in 4k. Tests showed 29-30/MB at best, but read speed is stable at 299/MB it is the fact that it has a usb-c connector, just buy an adapter for your regular usb drive and plug it in. even my old seagate external hard drive is faster than this, what a new product such a one disappointment was hopes. If you want the best speed, get an external SSD. Samsung T5, G-Drive, Atom and even WD have an SSD that will give you the…

Requires REPLACEMENT in ONE MONTH!

Let me first say that I don't abuse my USB sticks. Never put it in the washer/dryer, step on it or drop it. That being said, I've never had a USB drive disintegrate like this drive! As you can see from the photos, the actual INSIDE of the USB-C ports is bent and won't let me connect to my computer. The metal part of the plug is not bent or damaged. On the plus side, the drive reads relatively quickly, although writing to it is much slower. That being said, I generally like the design and build…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • No automatic mode

The only reason I'm writing this review is to correct claims that this drive has a slow write speed. It's not like this. Both attached images are examples of the same files being copied to and from a Samsung USB drive. The files (171 in total) range in size from 700MB to 5GB. I've also attached a screenshot of my test results. With CrystalDisk, I used the Real World setting instead of Peak Performance to get a more realistic performance picture. This is only an example. Other copies to/from…

Great idea disappointing execution

Our office uses OneDrive for Business for cloud storage but I want both a cloud service and an offline backup of my work documents as a security precaution and I thought it was the device will do the trick for the offline part. I also have a OnePlus 3T phone and found the USB-C connection perfect for sending emails through Outlook when my computer isn't available. Unfortunately, Duo Plus was not a reliable solution. I outline a device design flaw from user experience. To use a USB-A connection…
