Review on 💾 Samsung Duo Plus 128GB - USB 3.1 Flash Drive (MUF-128DB/AM) with Lightning-fast 300MB/s Speed by Kyle Hood

Our office uses OneDrive for Business for cloud storage but I want both a cloud service and an offline backup of my work documents as a security precaution and I thought it was the device will do the trick for the offline part. I also have a OnePlus 3T phone and found the USB-C connection perfect for sending emails through Outlook when my computer isn't available. Unfortunately, Duo Plus was not a reliable solution. I outline a device design flaw from user experience. To use a USB-A connection (which many of us still use as our primary port), you need to follow the complicated procedure below: 1) Remove the USB-C cap. 2) Disconnect the USB-A component from the back of the USB-C component.3) Connect the USB-C component to the back of the USB-A component.4). Don't forget to remove the USB-C cap in step 1, which cannot be placed on either of the other two components. While the design is a bit disappointing, the added functionality of the two available ports could make up for it if it weren't for the poor reliability. If the Duo Plus was docked or connected to the PC all day, it would keep disconnecting from the PC, usually when you were trying to save or overwrite a file (many would probably agree that the worst time for such a failure). My PC has both USB-A and USB-C ports and the Duo Plus did the same with both ports. Duo Plus is a great idea that is not yet operational (no pun intended). I replaced the Duo Plus with a SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 drive. SanDisk lacks the flexibility of a USB-C connector, but its speed and reliability (particularly the ability to always stay connected to a PC) make it a much more practical solution until Samsung improves the Duo Plus' connectivity options.
