The only reason I'm writing this review is to correct claims that this drive has a slow write speed. It's not like this. Both attached images are examples of the same files being copied to and from a Samsung USB drive. The files (171 in total) range in size from 700MB to 5GB. I've also attached a screenshot of my test results. With CrystalDisk, I used the Real World setting instead of Peak Performance to get a more realistic performance picture. This is only an example. Other copies to/from were faster, but this serves as a good example and is the only example I've bothered to screenshot. All transfers are via USB-C. Excellent retention. If you have a decent system and everything is properly optimized, you can expect this kind of performance. I have no idea what the people claiming to have slow write speeds are doing, but something is wrong on their end - the drive is fine and reliably fast.
