Review on ☕️ Bialetti 5293 Moka Emotion Espresso Maker: The Perfect Brew in Vibrant Red by Ada Siembor ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

A useless product, it's not worth the money.

The coffee maker was bought, in fact, as the only 2-cup coffee maker from Bialetti that is suitable for an induction cooker. The design itself is non-standard - a heavy and squat metal flask in combination with an aluminum jug, with a classic-type percolation tube. The main problem is the white o-ring, which holds the filter extremely poorly, it dangles and tries to fall out of the bottom of the jug. Because of this, water spills during boiling, and the pressure is unstable. You have to twist the flask very tightly to the jug - but this still does not really help. I had an assumption that this was a marriage, but it seems that this problem occurs everywhere - before that I bought branded o-rings for another Bialetti coffee maker - and they dangle similarly without pressing the filter properly. The main thing is that the inscription Made in Italy is hollowed out everywhere, which causes a smile. Interestingly, there are no such problems with the Bialetti Aeternum coffee maker (4 cups), despite the fact that it is made in China - it has a harmonious holistic design without backlash, the silicone ring is exactly the size of the filter, and is made of thin steel that heats up instantly and cooling, as it should be in geysers. Not to mention that the price is lower. But even if there would be complete order with the ring, questions remain about the design. Due to the squat shape of the flask, it is difficult to see the inside of the valve, to the level of which it is required to pour water. It is necessary to fasten the jug to the flask by weight, because. the shape of the flask does not allow it to be fixed normally if you hold it by the walls. The flask heats up for a long time, and cools even longer - because of this feature, it is more difficult to control the extraction process - you can "miss" the coffee due to overheating of the flask. And like a cherry on a cake - the jug itself heats up along with the flask, which is why there is a risk of getting burned.

Pros
  • No. The main function is performed with grief in half.
Cons
  • The sealing ring has a large play, the design is heavy and inconvenient.

Got pros: Works with induction super fast Has some cons It turned out to be too small in volume even for one person =) Take at least 4 servings.
