do not burn and burn out quickly - no wicks at all
later so that the wicks burn, burn and then when you extinguish them, light them again. these wicks do not burn and must be constantly pulled out as the wick burns out. Ceramic holders are good. I bought another type and they work fine. too late for me to go back - so save your money and don't buy them.
