I bought these to clean up vegetables from the garden and they really do the job for that! They might not be enough for reddish-brown potatoes, but they'll definitely go well with radishes and carrots. I usually wear medium sized medical gloves and I would say they are closer to XL - they are really too big for delicate work. I would not recommend washing dishes unless they are large pots. Advice - change hands. is in a glove so the cleaning part is on the outside of your hand when you need to perform different tasks. It's easy to rub the backs of your hands if necessary, but you still have a little more skill to pluck the tops off the radishes.
