I use a lot of flux brushes for arts and crafts glue. I usually buy them at hardware stores for 29 cents each, and I get lucky when I find them for 19 cents each. In fact, as a last resort when I unexpectedly ran out, I bought them in packs of 6 or so for over $3. It will take me 2 years to get past 120 but the price is so good it comes out at pennies apiece not a quarter apiece. They have shorter handles if that matters to anyone. I prefer longer handles for collecting leftover glue in a jar, but these have been harder to find lately. Regardless, I've learned to just tip the glue bottle to grab it from the side instead of getting my hands dirty trying to get to the floor. Goodbye!
